Sarah Easterly is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. She has over ten years of counseling experience, she believes our greatest source of healing comes from the strength of our relationships. When relationships break down, families are more susceptible to emotional and physical dysfunction which can last for generations. But when our relationships are healthy, they insulate us from trauma. We simply cannot navigate through the difficulties of life until we know that we are truly seen, known and valued.
Sarah specializes in using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the gold standard of the American Counseling Association, to facilitate healing with couples, individuals, and child-parent relationships. Her areas of focus include couples counseling, intimacy issues, infidelity and affair recovery, EFT-Emotionally Focused Therapy, child-parent relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma and EMDR.
A lifelong resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana, Sarah and her husband, John, have five children and serve at the Oaks Church.

Psychological Wellness Institute, LLC
Julie Alleman and Juliet Catrett met in 2015 at a training together in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). After several trainings together and certifications, and because both Julie and Juliet have a passion for serving people who have experienced trauma, they decided to join forces to create a counseling center for those who have experienced psychological, relational, and emotional trauma. As a result, Psychological Wellness Institute, LLC, was born in 2020. Julie and Juliet have over 33 years of combined post-graduate clinical experience. In 2021, Psychological Wellness Institute, LLC, welcomed the wonderful addition of Sarah Easterly, MA, LPC, CSAT, which expanded its services to provide Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples and indivudals.
